BQ Basements & Concrete Partners with Habitat for Humanity

This October, BQ Basements & Concrete employees got their hands dirty with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. As part of the companywide Build Together 2023 initiative, employees volunteered at the organization’s ReStore in Horsham. 

ReStores accept donated items from the community, sell them, and use the profits to help support home builds for local families in need. BQ employees assembled furniture and shelving, organized and set up donations as they came in, and even got their tools out to assist in some hardware repair. 

The partnership is part of a $100,000 donation Groundworks®, BQ’s parent company, made to Habitat for Humanity International to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. In addition, it gives 4,500 employees the opportunity to volunteer in over 50 communities this year.
